Visitor entry phones are installed on the unsecured side of a building’s entrance to manage and control guest access efficiently and securely.
When a visitor or delivery personnel requires building access, they can search a built-in directory on the entry phone to locate the resident or business they are visiting. Once selected, the system initiates a call to the associated person’s mobile phone, landline or mobile app.
After the call is answered, the occupant can speak directly with the visitor to verify their identity and reason for access. If approved, the occupant can remotely unlock the door—typically by pressing a designated key on their phone.
